Keen Eye on Insights
The process was began with a complete asset and literature audit and continued with re-organization of the website architecture to create a more intuitive user experience. Above is an example of how the team leveraged doctor knowledge in the form of a integrated blog.
Attention to User Interaction
From user testing we learned that several special interacitve features were necessary for a rich user experience. Out of this insight, videos, event calendars, online scheduling, messaging and social media capabilities. To better engage the audience, customized templates were implemented that visually organize and prioritize navigation and content. Above illustrates how advertising revenue was leveraged and built in to the new digital strategy.
Award-Winning Results

The final design solution was well received with an overall increase in traffic. Much of this was due to the seamless connection to all social platforms with a consistent design integration.

The site won Gold Level for Best Website Design at the 2010 E-Leadership Health Care Awards.

The main patient and community access portal for Hendricks Regional Health, Hendricks.org, serves to create awareness and provide patient tools to better provide regional healthcare services. This included a comprehensive PR, advertising and social media strategy.
Working with my team, we strategically worked to provide a user-friendly tool to access video content, critical healthcare information, online scheduling services as well as integrated blogs and customized social media solutions.
